The Talent Table is an Amsterdam based culinary initiative unified by our culinary curiosity and love for the extraordinary.

We hand pick truly talented chefs, some with Michelin stars, some who we feel are on the road to achieving the star, but all with passion, integrity and love for their craft.  Chefs who place their hearts in the most vulnerable of ways and who are free to express themselves without constraint.

The Talent Table was born from a dream of uniting creativity and community, where chefs and guests explore cultures, forge friendships, and create unforgettable experiences. In seven remarkable years, we've savored meals from rising chefs turned stars, witnessed guests become lifelong friends and have connected chefs across the globe.

Coming Up

Whether drawing from local talent or hosting a visiting chef from abroad, our chefs share a common denominator for sharing their passion and giving our guests an extraordinary experience.
Rob Krawczyk
West Cork, Ireland
December 4

Step into the culinary journey of award-winning Irish chef Rob Krawczyk, whose roots lie deep in the enchanting county of Cork. Born and raised in the picturesque town of Schull, Rob's childhood unfolded in a home where the heart of everything beat in the kitchen. Influenced by his parents' rich tapestry of cooking and art, his journey embarked from a small, intimate restaurant in Schull, where his father, the charcuterie maestro Frank, crafted culinary wonders while his mother, Anne, gracefully managed the front of the house.
Venturing beyond the coastal embrace of Schull, Rob explored the realms of art in Dublin, studying model making and special effects for television and film. However, the call of his family's culinary heritage proved irresistible. At the age of 30, he made a daring leap into the food arena, eschewing traditional catering college for hands-on experience in elite kitchens worldwide.

Returning to West Cork's abundant larder, Rob realized his dream with the opening of Chestnut Restaurant* in Ballydehob, a Michelin-star gem that echoes his culinary philosophy. Rooted in simplicity, Rob's approach values humble ingredients over extravagance, a sentiment instilled by his father, Frank, the guiding force behind his journey into the art of charcuterie.

Rob's path led him across the globe, working alongside culinary luminaries such as Richard Corrigan in London and Alice Waters in San Francisco. His culinary philosophy was profoundly shaped by the ethos of Chez Panisse, where he imbibed the importance of letting produce speak for itself. A seasoned chef, Rob weaves nature's elements into his craft, creating a dining experience that transcends the plate, embracing seasonal colors and textures.

For Rob, the journey isn't just geographical; it's a tapestry of flavors, textures, and memories woven into the fabric of West Cork. In every dish, he pays homage to his parents' legacy, recreating the homely, intimate atmosphere that fueled his passion for food. Join us on this very special evening where every bite tells a story, and every plate is a homecoming to the heart of West Cork's culinary heritage.
