The Talent Table is an Amsterdam based culinary initiative unified by our culinary curiosity and love for the extraordinary. 

We hand pick truly talented chefs, some with Michelin stars, some who we feel are on the road to achieving the star, but all with passion, integrity and love for their craft.  Chefs who place their hearts in the most vulnerable of ways and who are free to express themselves without constraint.
The Talent Table was born from a dream of uniting creativity and community, where chefs and guests explore cultures, forge friendships, and create unforgettable experiences. In seven remarkable years, we've savored meals from rising chefs turned stars, witnessed guests become lifelong friends and have connected chefs across the globe.

Matteo Morbini

Get ready to meet Matteo Morbini, the culinary sensation that's about to rock the Big Apple! The second in our series of collaborative residencies with Public space features this Tuscan dynamo who’s as cool as they come.

Matteo's culinary journey started with the classics in Italy's top-notch kitchens, but he didn't stop there. He cranked up the excitement with stints in Sydney, where he cooked up a storm with Peter Gilmore at Quay, and then hit London to learn from legends like Alyn Williams and Gordon Ramsay and a home run collab in NYC with celebrity chef Tom Colicchio.

What's his cooking style, you ask? It's like a wild Italian food party in your mouth! Picture dishes like courgette 'alla scapece,' wild nettle with chinotto, cappelletti 'ajo, ojo e peperoncino,' and chestnut 'bomboloncino' paired with homemade ricotta and pickled elderflower. 

Matteo's culinary rulebook? Maximum respect for his ingredients and keeping it humble, of course. Even with legendary fans like celeb chef Tom Colicchio, with whom he recently did a pop-up in the Big Apple, Matteo remains grounded.

Oh, and about that secret project in the USA? Matteo's lips are sealed, but as he'd say, "Acqua in bocca." All we know is that we’re his very last stop before conquering NYC.
